Elementor Internal Linking Widget for Similar AI

Install and configure the Similar AI Links Widget for Elementor Pro. This guide covers downloading the plugin, entering your API credentials, and applying the template across your posts.

Download the installable zip file

Download the elementor-similar-links-widget.zip file (6.8 KB) from the link provided by your Similar AI account manager. Keep the zip file as-is - WordPress expects the compressed archive during installation.

Prerequisites

  • -WordPress with admin access
  • -Elementor Pro installed and activated
  • -A Similar AI API URL and token (provided during onboarding)

Install the plugin

  1. a.Log in to your WordPress dashboard at yourdomain.com/wp-admin
  2. b.Navigate to Plugins > Add New to open the Add Plugins page.
  3. c.Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
  4. d.Select elementor-similar-links-widget.zip and click Install Now.
  5. e.Once the installation finishes, click Activate.

Edit a template with Elementor

  1. a.Go to Templates > Theme Builder in the WordPress dashboard.
  2. b.If you don't have a template part yet, click Add New. To edit an existing part, select it and click Edit.
  3. c.Find the location in the template where you want the internal links to appear (typically below the main content area).
  4. d.In the Elementor widget panel on the left, look under the General tab for the Similar.ai Links widget. Drag and drop it onto the desired location.
  5. e.Fill in the API URL and Token fields in the widget settings panel.
  6. f.Save or update your changes and exit the editor.

Where to find your API credentials

Your API URL and token are provided during onboarding. If you need to retrieve them, contact your Similar AI account manager or check the internal linking platform documentation.

Apply the template to your posts

  1. a.Go to the Posts section in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. b.Select the posts you want to apply the new template to.
  3. c.Click Edit, then in the Document tab scroll down to Page Attributes.
  4. d.Change the template to the one you created in Step 3.
  5. e.Preview the post to verify the Similar AI links appear correctly.
  6. f.Click Publish (or Update) to save your changes.
